My autobiography

My name is Sandra Solorio, and I am currently completing my Associate Degree in Child Development. Through my coursework and field experiences, I have developed a strong passion for supporting young children's learning and development during their early years. I believe that every child is capable, curious, and eager to learn when provided with a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. My educational experiences have helped me gain knowledge in child development, curriculum planning, observation and assessment, and developmentally appropriate practices.

As part of my training, I have completed practicum experiences in a preschool setting where I worked directly with children ages three to five. During this experience, I planned and implemented learning activities that supported children's social-emotional, language, literacy, science, art, and mathematics development. I have also gained valuable experience observing children's learning, building positive relationships with families, and creating inclusive environments that respect each child's unique background, culture, and abilities.

My goal as an early childhood educator is to foster a love of learning while helping children develop confidence, independence, and strong social skills. I am committed to creating meaningful learning experiences that encourage exploration, creativity, and curiosity. As I continue my professional journey, I look forward to growing as an educator and making a positive impact on the lives of young children and their families
